The Christmas tag

I love a tag post and I love Christmas time so of course I had to do the Christmas tag. I’d love to read yours if you fancy doing it too so if you do one let me know.

Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?

No never, save all the presents for Christmas day.

What Christmas traditions are you looking forward to most this year?

I always look forward to going to the carols on the village green followed by a drink in the pub and being together with all my family as it doesn’t happen very often.

Is your Christmas tree real or fake?

Fake, but it’s a lovely fake.

Traditional turkey dinner or something else?

Turkey all the way, with all the trimmings

What is your favorite Christmas film?

Oooh that’s a tough one. Can I choose a top 3…Home Alone, Elf and Christmas with the Kranks

Where do you usually spend your Christmas?

We alternate between my parents and the in-laws but we always spend Christmas morning in our house.

Do you like Christmas cake?

I like the cake and icing but can’t stand marzipan

What is your favorite Christmas song?

All I want for Christmas – Mariah Carey

What is your all-time favorite holiday food/sweet treat?

Savory has to be pigs in blankets and sweet any chocolate (I am a chocoholic) 

Be honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?

Giving all the way, love seeing their faces when the open them.

What is your favorite thing about Christmas?

Spending time with family

When do you start getting excited for Christmas?

1st of December when we put up our tree and lights

As a kid, did a sibling ever receive a present that you wished was for you?

No, having 3 brothers I never really asked for the same things as them and my parents (mum, dad never had a clue what ‘they’ had bought us) are very good at gifting giving.

What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?

Lapland is on the list to take the kids to but to spend Christmas in a ski chalet in Austria with all my family would be awesome.

Do you make New Years resolutions? Do you stick to them?

I made a new years resolution a years ago not to make any but I’m thinking of breaking it and making a couple this year as there are a few things I want to achieve.

Have you ever had a white Christmas?

Yes

Can you name all of Father Christmas’s reindeer? (without googling)

Prancer, Dancer, Donner, Blitzen, Comet, Cupid, Dasher (?) Couldn’t remember the last one its Vixen. I think I did pretty well.

Are you a pro present wrapper or complete failure?

I like to think I’m a pretty good present wrapper.

If you could have anything for Christmas what would it be?

All of my family (especially Ben) know the answer, a horse!
